“Saving Throw” is a term originating in role-playing games. It is an action a player takes to resist any negative impact of the events that have been thrown their way. It’s a chance to turn things around.

About

We listen, act, and transform

Throughout our life story we experience times of painful struggle. We may feel stuck, hopeless, and unsure how to move forward. It is during these times that we grow the most. I hold onto that hope for you until it can be grasped again. I do this by creating a safe space where your inner most thoughts and feelings can be explored as you work towards becoming your best true self. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Supervisor. I have counseling experience spanning over 12 years across a wide array of settings to include schools, prison, military, acute psychiatric hospitalization and private practice. Within these settings, I provided therapy to individuals, couples, and families struggling with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, LGBTQ+ issues, spiritual issues, addiction, marital discord, sexual disfunction, infidelity, and much more. I am a HUGE geek at heart and when not providing therapy can usually be found playing RPGs, Board/PC games, walking with my wife and dogs, or playing poker.
